East Chiltington Parish Church
East Chiltington Parish Church
Originally built as a chapel of ease back in the 12th century as East Chiltington was originally part of the parish of Westmeston. The tower was added in the 14th century and the church was restored towards the end of the 19th. It was raised to the status of parish church in 1909 when East Chiltington was detached from Westmeston. Like nearby Streat the dedication is unknown.
