How different this would have looked 80 years ago when the nearby quarries were filling the harbourside bins with stone for road-making and bricks were being produced. The central building, Ty Mawr is the only remnant of the brickmaking industry. Part of this building is now a restaurant, 'The Shed', where we enjoyed a terrific lunch.
