Fort William is behind the 'whale-back' hill in the centre [Meall an t-Suidhe]. Beyond that is Loch Linnhe and its junction with Loch Eil at The Narrows, where the pale patch in the centre is the Corpach Paper Mill NN0876 which was reported to be closing in September 2005. Arjo Wiggins, the global multinational which owned the mill, said the market for its products had been "destroyed" by electronic transactions.
