Bostall is a local Sussex name given to a track that leads up the side of the northern scarp slope of the South Downs. Often old droving tracks some have been surfaced and are used as part of the modern road network. This one has remained a track, too steep for the cyclist in view, that links the summit of Blackcap with the B2116 below.
