Opposite the end of Edna Street, the shops on Market Street include the recently closed "Dragon Rock" which opened as an "Alternative Life Style" shop some two or three years ago but seems to have mainly specialised in T-shirt printing, the "Sobrinca Factory Shop" selling prams and nursery equipment which moved from smaller premises about a year ago and Heacock's second-hand bookshop which has been in business for over twenty years.
