Hop Processing Building at Crow Plain Farm
Hop Processing Building at Crow Plain Farm
The hops bines are brought here for the hops flowers to separated from the bines. The tractor goes under the covered area where the hops are hooked to the hanging converyor. The building is full of machinery to do what once would have been done by tens or hundreds or hop pickers in the field.
Once processed they are then taken to the oast house to be dried.
