SD3036 : Blackpool North Pier

taken 8 years ago, near to Blackpool, Great Britain

Blackpool North Pier
Blackpool North Pier
Blackpool is the only town in the United Kingdom with three piers; the North Pier was completed in 1863, followed by the Central Pier in 1868 and the South Pier in 1893.

This photograph illustrates the attractive Victorian kiosks and ironwork that adorns much of the Pier. The Metropole Hotel is just visible on the shoreline to the left of the kiosk.
