A rear view of St.Mary's taken from the overgrown churchyard which actually covers much of area where once stood the Augustinian priory founded here in the C12th. Note the little blanked window in the gable end - or it may originally have been a doorway before this range was demolished - it can be seen from the inside here SP5750 : Frescos, St. Mary's, Canon's Ashby.
