East window, St. Mary's, Canons Ashby
This five light stained glass window is in the eastern wall of the truncated nave of this former priory church. It was therefore obviously inserted when the nave was shortened about 500 years ago. The glass, I would say, is Victorian. This window is partly surrounded by frescos (wall paintings) which can't be seen in this photo, but can here SP5750 : Frescos, St. Mary's, Canon's Ashby
