Road junction in Bolventor village
The main road used to be the A30 until this was bypassed about 30 years ago, the 'new' A30 to the left running the other side of the Jamaica Inn in a deep cutting. The road on the right descends the Fowey valley and leads eventually to St Cleer. On the horizon to the right is Halvana Plantation.
