SM8032 : Clifftop wall

taken 8 years ago, near to Porthgain, Pembrokeshire/Sir Benfro, Great Britain

Clifftop wall
Clifftop wall
Evidence of the once industrial area along the cliffs west of Porthgain are all around: abandoned quarries, roofless ruins, a tramway route and walled areas, such as this tell of an extensive operation. Quarrying ceased in the 1930s and nature is very slowly covering the remnants.
