Sea cave under Point of Whitehill
Sea cave under Point of Whitehill
Paddling south from Otterswick across the Bay of Whinnifirt, kayakers approaching the
Point of Whitehill suddenly see a crack of daylight appear which is soon revealed as quite a long cave cutting right through the headland. This is but the first of many such sea caves to explore on the SE coast of Yell, accessible only from the smallest of boats, such as sea kayaks.
