SN7969 : Two streams crossing...

near to Llyn du [water Feature], Ceredigion, Great Britain

Two streams crossing...
Two streams crossing...
This bog has formed where the Nant Banc Mawr, a natural stream, crosses the abandoned leat which used to supply water from Llyn Fyrddon Fawr to the Esgair Mwyn lead mine near Ffair Rhos (source: LinkExternal link ). Most of the square is wet and boggy moorland; only the high point, Carreg Naw Llyn in N, is a dry grass-covered summit.
