The wettest of the shallow boggy valleys in this area as seen from the northern slope of Geifas at the SE corner of the square. In the background can be seen the Ystwyth valley, Cefn Croes windfarm, and Plynlimon. This square is the NW corner of the high-level bog. In NW, the land drops down steeply by 150m towards the upper Ystwyth valley above the village of Cwmystwyth.
