TM3390 : Site of Bungay station goods yard
near to Bungay, Suffolk, Great Britain

Site of Bungay station goods yard
The Bungay bypass opened in 1983 and was built on the trackbed of the Waveney Valley railway. I am standing on a concrete bridge which replaced the 3 arched brick bridge. The factory to the right is Clays Printing, they printed the Harry Potter books. On the road you can see a blue sign on the left, on the right of that stood the goods shed. At the round about was a small level crossing.
Look to the shadows on the road, the tree shadow that reaches right across is pointing the site of Bungay signal box.
