I took the as a comparison to a photo taken taken in the mid 1960s (it was still open for goods by then). The line is heading off with a Hunslet diesel coming towards the photographer with a empty sand train. To the right is the old oil siding used for oil trains to supply oil fields during the war. The level crossing is out but the photographer was standing at the gate.
