Jim's Bridge
Jim's Bridge
The Avon Valley Path from Salisbury to Christchurch crosses this bridge, across a side stream of the River Avon. The original bridge (1989) completed a missing link in the path. This replacement was built in 2008. But who is/was Jim? This plaque on the bridge unfortunately does not tell us any more TQ1985 : Wembley Arch From Engineers Way
