TF5325 : Copse on the edge of The Wash

taken 15 years ago, 4 km WNW of Ongar Hill, Norfolk, England

Copse on the edge of The Wash
Copse on the edge of The Wash
This copse and lake surrounded by overgrown vegetation is a sanctuary for wild game birds. They are fed on a regular basis by the gamekeepers so wildfowlers can come along and shoot them. I can never understand how conservation areas and shooting go hand in hand?
