Two days after work the removal of the signage on this former Woolworths (see TQ4666 : Former Woolworths - transformation 1 for the start of work and TQ4666 : Former Woolworths - transformation 2 for a photo showing half the new signage erected), the new signs were complete, revealing the name of the new occupant, Ethel Austin Au Naturale. Ironically, this is almost opposite the still empty site of a former branch of Ethel Austin, on the other side of the High Street, which closed in 2008 when the chain went into administration.
