The mission church of the Annunciation on the corner of Redwood Road and Thorncroft Way on the Yew Tree estate was dedicated in 1958. Designed by Hickton, Madeley & Salt, it is of brick and consists of a hall, a sanctuary which can be shut off, and rooms along the north side.
