St. Edmund & St. Mary: the parish church of Ingatestone
St. Edmund & St. Mary: the parish church of Ingatestone
The late perpendicular brick tower of this church is probably the finest brick tower in Essex, if not the whole country. The oldest part of the church is the north wall, which is from the original Norman church, and showing much re-used Roman brick.
