Stockport Road, the A560 through Gee Cross. In the centre is the Queen Adelaide SJ9593 : Queen Adelaide. Between it and the ladies' hairdressers is a development of new houses called "Queens Close". These have been built on the site of the Orlando Oldhams Cork Cutters factory, latterly Ashworth's bag factory.
