Little Mill Common
Little Mill Common
The name of the field according to the 1842 tithe map and once part of Middleton Common that was enclosed in the early 17th century. The southern end of a modern large field that includes Great Mill Common to the north. The rise in land and field name suggests the site of a former windmill.
