Flattening of the grass still indicates that the bridleway has some use for walkers or sheep, but there was no evidence of horses. Cefn Fannog (forested) is up to the right; Esgair Garn is up to the left. There were red and white plastic markers tied to sheaves of grass all the way up the valley, marking the route. Maybe an activity had been prepared for the approaching weekend.

In the distance a car is parked by the road which skirts the Tywi arm of Llyn Brianne. The road can be seen again further round as it negotiates Cwm Gwrach.
