Banky Field
Banky Field
The name of the field according to the 1843 tithe map and once part of Dumbles Common that was enclosed in the early 16th century. Since then the field has been enlarged to include a number of others including Flat Field that lies beyond the two trees, the remains of the former hedgerow that divided the two. The foliage in the background marks the course of Eastern Road.
