Skye residents John Allan and Carol Walker have each visited Uiginish Point for Geograph, and photographed this cnoc.

In my picture, the stripy ground in the foreground is the remains of lazybeds - a system of rig and furrow cultivation, popular among the crofters in the 1800s.
There are large areas of lazybeds on this small headland.
