NT6422 : Old school balers

taken 8 years ago, near to Bonjedward, Scottish Borders, Great Britain

Old school balers
Old school balers
Balers in a stubble field beneath Lanton Woods. These produce the small and portable bales which have almost been replaced by the machine handled large bales.
There is still a market for them, especially for stables.

I have "fond" memories of walking with hay bales on my back, and a Hereford cow trying to knock it off with her horns. When I had a straw coloured Jaguar I rucksack, I seemed to attract close attention from cattle.
