Old North British Hotel from Waverley Bridge
The hotel built above Waverley Station (now incongruously renamed the Balmoral, presumably to attract tourists with the lure of the Highlands) has direct lift access to the platforms below. Some scenes in the 2007 film 'Hallam Foe' were set inside the Clock Tower. Traditionally, the clock was set two minutes faster than real time to encourage passengers at risk of arriving late to speed up to catch their trains on time.
