SS9840 : Withycombe Scruffets

taken 13 years ago, 3 km from Luxborough, Somerset, Great Britain

Withycombe Scruffets.
Withycombe Scruffets.
The Scruffets is an area of ancient semi-natural woodland. The trees are mostly coppiced oak which were used for charcoal making. The green in the foreground is a solid mass of bilberry bushes. Yummy.
