SX5460 : Browney Cross

Browney Cross
Browney Cross
The signpost seen in SX5460 : Brownie Cross and SX5460 : Browney Cross, at the southern end of a grassy triangle containing the socket stone for the vanished cross. The signpost read "Browney" but several maps have "Brownie". The road to Plympton continues down into the Brixton Barton valley. The field boundary with the isolated clump of small trees just left of centre marks the line of the dismantled SX5460 : Lee Moor Tramway.
