SK7248 : Parish enclave

taken 8 years ago, near to Bleasby, Nottinghamshire, Great Britain

Parish enclave
Parish enclave
The notice reads, rather portentously, as follows:

"Bleasby Parish Council has taken possession of the land fenced off in this area for the benefit of Bleasby Parish residents.
Any persons wishing to discuss this matter are advised to contact the Parish Council Clerk."

Maybe there was some objection to the appropriation, but the area is at least perfectly accessible, and as can be seen, an informative board has been installed. It's just a shame that such a dense hedge has been planted to remove the view over the river itself.
