Herdwicks and other sheep
Herdwicks and other sheep
This bank in Wildpark LNR was famous for its butterflies in Victorian times - especially Adonis and Small Blues. Sheep were put in to graze a south facing slope of the coomb in October 2008. The sheep were believed to be on loan from Southerham, near Lewes.
