SN7476 : Lower Mynach Valley

taken 12 years ago, near to Devil's Bridge, Ceredigion/Sir Ceredigion, Great Britain

Lower Mynach Valley
Lower Mynach Valley
The Mynach joins the Rheidol in a cascade of waterfalls at Pontarfynach / Devil's Bridge, but before getting there, it runs quietly through a shallow valley. The river runs E-NW through the square, the road to Cwmystwyth runs almost parallel a little higher. Most of this square is farmland except for the NW corner, where the Mynach begins its descent into the Rheidol gorge, and a little forest in SE.
