The blue girder section is actually over a Dam which held water to power the Burgin & Ball Factory just off the picture to the right. The river at this point is the River Loxley. The shops in the background are on the 'one-way section' of Holme Lane. The renovated Malin Bridge Corn Mill is also visible in the background.
