This view of the bridge is taken from the 'original Malin Bridge' which crosses the River Loxley carrying Stannington Road. The view shows the confluence of the River Rivelin on the right and the River Loxley on the left. After merging the River remains as the Loxley until it, in turn, joins the River Don in Hillsborough. The appropriately named Watersmeet Road can be seen 'running off' to the top of the picture.
