Lossiemouth Cemetery
Lossiemouth Cemetery
Fascinating place with a gravestone commemorating the death of a local lady on SS Athena torpedoed by a U boat at the start of WWII and another grave where 2 local residents who were killed by "enemy action" are buried. There was a bombing raid on RAF Lossiemouth in 1941 and 4 local people were killed when the bombs missed the airfield. Also several fishermen's graves.
