Port Ludaig channel
Port Ludaig channel
A long shingle bar off Berneray. A narrow passage exists, has been dredged allowing small boats to pass by. This is marked by poles. The Sound of Harris is a complex of skerries, shoals, small islands and tide races and is a notoriously difficult sea to navigate.
