Castles of Munster: Ballysheeda, Tipperary
East of the Multeen River between the villages of Cappagh White and Dundrum is Ballysheeda, a five storey circular tower house that was held by Philip O'Dwyer in 1657. Of the four machicolations at the top, two are visible here, one being sited right over the entrance.
