Castles of Munster: Tickincor, Waterford (3)

Although the modern single storey building adjoining the castle lies in grid square S2322, the whole of the castle is in S2422, its frontage almost exactly coincident with the eastings line. In order to take a picture of the castle within the square, a walk further east along the north bank of the Suir was required. Doing so has revealed the interesting architecture of Tickincor's north and east sides.
