Wind farm platform at Parkeston Quay
Viewed from mid-channel in the River Stour, this platform is moored alongside the western end of Harwich International Port's Parkeston Quay. Wind turbine blades are prepared here, prior to loading to a barge for transporting out to Gunfleet Sands, six miles off Clacton. To the east of the platform a Stena Line ferry sits alongside.
