The dinosaur is called Millie, and stands over forty feet high. It was present here for the duration of the "Walking With Dinosaurs" exhibition that was held in Glasgow University's Hunterian Museum in 2001; the museum is located in the building that is visible in the background.
This life-size model was made by John Riddell, and had been specially commissioned for this exhibition.
