SD9003 : Chadderton,Oldham

taken 14 years ago, near to Chadderton, Oldham, Great Britain

A fairly typical image of the sort of building frequently found in this part of the northwest of England. Formerly a Cotton Mill, now home to a business that manufactures electronic components.
(Edit Nov. 2011. Gem Mill, built 1901, demolished 2008. In 1942 Ferranti Ltd acquired the Mill for design and manufacture of electronic valves and, in time, semiconductors. This part of the Ferranti company was sold in 1998 and became Zetex Semiconductors.)
