Bench mark on Chester Bridge
Bench mark on Chester Bridge
This is a clear cut bench mark, just before the parapet of Chester Bridge, and is cut into the softer red brick rather than the adjacent, much harder, blue engineering bricks. The wall has been partly demolished, and there is a notice offering the land behind for redevelopment, so the bench mark may not be there for much longer.
