Nethy Bridge drinking fountain
Nethy Bridge drinking fountain
Wear and tear prevents me deciphering the florid (Gaelic?) inscription, but the internet provides this information: The drinking fountain was gifted to the people of Nethy Bridge by Lord and Lady Stamford and Warrington when they gave up the lease of the Abernethy Deer shooting forest. Lady Stamford was the builder of Forest Lodge (now headquarters for the RSPB reserve staff).
