Pulpit and Communion Table in Duirinish Church
One of the highest pulpits of Scotland, with its unusual ogee sounding-board, is complemented by the Communion Table dating from 1959, illustrating the ministry of both Word and Sacrament. Between them is placed the box from which in former times the Precentor would lead the unaccompanied congregational singing. Now that the church has an organ the box has found a new use as a stand for floral arrangements. Link
