Kilwinning Clock Tower
On the 21st October 1814 ( The day of the festival of St Thomas )the foundation stone for the Tower was laid by the Most Worshipful Grandmaster of the Most Ancient Motherlodge Kilwinning William Davidson in the presence of the Earl of Eglington and other Heritors of the Parish of Kilwinning.Two years later on the 12th of November 1816 it was completed.
