The white building on the right is the only occupied dwelling in what was once a busy township of as many as twenty-two families. Below the trees is a large modern barn, and below that, an area of cattle pens. On the left is a former croft cottage now used as a store.
A public road from Glendale ends here, but a track leads south (to the left in this picture) to the deserted and ruined township of Lorgill.
