Ruins in Lorgill
Ruins in Lorgill
The township of Lorgill was once home to as many as twenty-two families.
They were forcibly evicted in the 1800s by a landlord who wanted the land for grazing sheep.
To this day the ruins of the houses, walls and enclosures remain.
