The museum is in a former goods warehouse at the southern terminus of the Severn Valley Railway.

The 1930s, Swindon built 4-6-0 King class locomotive, King Edward I is a static exhibit during minor repairs. The locomotive was withdrawn from service in 1962. For more information see LinkExternal link .
