SO7643 : The Wyche Cutting

near to Upper Colwall, Herefordshire, Great Britain

The Wyche Cutting
The Wyche Cutting
Viewed from the eastern side of the Malvern Hills.
From this angle the cutting in the hills' skyline can be clearly seen.
Here the New Wyche Road passes through to Colwall.
The old road used to zig-zag up behind the Herefordshire Arms public house to climb over the ridge of the hills between the houses a little to the right of the cutting.
